The Sacramento Speakers Series prides itself in being a vital part of the community. Here are a few ways we are giving back to our wonderful Sacramento community this year.
The Sacramento Speakers Series has implemented a community outreach program called Share the Vision. It allows us to offer complimentary tickets to local high school students to attend individual engagements of our Series. It proves to be an invaluable evening because not only do students gain first-hand knowledge outside of the classroom, but they also participate in an important community event and connect with nationally (and sometimes internationally) recognized individuals who are experts in their fields. SACRAMENTO FOOD BANK CANNED FOOD DRIVE
As an extension of our Run to Feed the Hungry participation, at our November events we hold a canned food drive benefiting the Sacramento Food Bank. Thank you for helping us give back to those who need it the most in our community. We have collected over 800 pounds of food items for the Sacramento Food Bank!

The Sacramento Speakers Series team has participated in Run to Feed the Hungry since 2011. We think it is important to contribute to one of the longest running (pun intended) local charity events. Our team is made up of employees, friends and family who are committed to bettering the community and raising money for this much-needed effort.
